Dr. Avis D. Dickey’s story is shaped by years of service, steady learning and deep faith. For more than 35 years, she worked across government, healthcare, education, and the U.S. Navy Reserve, often leading teams during change and uncertain moments. As a Senior Executive Service leader, she stayed close to the people she served, not just the positions they held. Helping others grow and adjust came naturally to her. Teaching at graduate levels and mentoring future leaders became part of everyday work. Today, through speaking and coaching around the world, Dr. Dickey shares lessons learned from real situations, focused on people, purpose and choosing what’s right, even when it’s not easy.
